Wonderful and Interesting Cambridge Day Out

Yesterday our group headed to Cambridge. Cambridge is one of the top five universities in the world. Our tour guide Simon showed us where Newton developed his theory of gravity, and where the structure of DNA was discovered.

I noticed that Cambridge colleges are different than back home colleges because most of US colleges and universities don’t have chapel and students are allowed to walk on the grass/lawn. In Cambridge, students and visitors can’t step on the grass. I think it’s kind of Cambridge traditions and that  surprised me a lot!!!!

I enjoyed punting a boat in Cambridge because we sat back and viewed seven of Cambridges’ main colleges and eight bridges with a running commentary from our punt guide. It’s so comfortable and I love it!!
